JCPenney is one of America’s largest apparel and home furnishings retailers, founded in 1902, with over 1,000 stores nationwide.
With so many stores spread out over 49 states, as well as many different departments and divisions, JCPenney needed the ability to make changes on time, so that business innovation wasn’t hindered by technical upgrades.
JCPenney had a complex Oracle EBS agenda over the next 16 months.
They wanted to:
- Improve and streamline their procurement processes, vendor negotiations and tracking spending on IT projects with new procurement modules
- Implement Project Management, PPA (Project Portfolio analysis) and OTL (Oracle Time & Labor) modules for timesheet tracking and project allocations
- Save maintenance cost, master data management, and streamline business processes
- Upgrade Oracle Applications, as well as platform migrations and other upgrades
JCPenney had a complex implementation, with several conflicting priorities. But, with a strong implementation team from Infosys combined with the innovative and software-driven power of Panaya, JCPenney was able to cut down the complexity and able to know the true impact of chains, enabling agility and quality.
Thanks to Panaya, delivery time and effort was cut down.
The power of People + Software made the Panaya difference for JCPenney.
Clearly Panaya is #SoWorthIt to JCPenney
